By purchasing from me you agree to the following terms. I'm a hobbyist, not a commercial seller — these terms help make sure transactions go smoothly for both of us.

General

  • All sales are final. I do not accept returns.
  • Payment is due before shipment. I accept [PayPal F&F / Venmo / etc.].
  • You must be 18 years old to purchase, or have parental consent.
  • I reserve the right to refuse any sale for any reason.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure ownership of the species you're purchasing is legal in your state/locality.

  • Prices listed on the For Sale page are per listing as described.
  • Shipping is additional unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change without notice.

Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee

⚠️ Live arrival is only guaranteed within the following temperature conditions and shipping speeds. Please read carefully.

  • I ship via USPS Priority Mail (1–3 day) or Priority Mail Express (1–2 day). I do not ship via ground for live animals.
  • I ship on [days, e.g. Monday–Wednesday] to avoid animals sitting in a facility over the weekend.
  • I include heat packs or cool packs when temperatures require it.
  • Live arrival is guaranteed when the following conditions are met:
    • Destination forecast is between 35°F and 95°F during the entire transit window.
    • You must be available to receive the package on the delivery date.
    • Any DOA (dead on arrival) must be reported within 2 hours of delivery with a photo of the unopened box and a clear photo of the deceased animal.
  • DOA claims outside these conditions may be offered a store credit or replacement at my discretion, but I am not obligated to do so.
  • I am not responsible for delays caused by USPS, weather events, or incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

Hold Requests

  • I can hold paid orders for up to [X] weeks. After that, the order ships on the next available shipping day.
  • Unpaid holds are not guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a business?

Nope! I'm just a hobbyist who sometimes has more animals than I need. I sell surplus from my own cultures to other hobbyists. This isn't my job, it's my passion — so please be patient and kind. 🙂

Do you ship internationally?

No — I only ship within [the US / your region]. Shipping live invertebrates internationally involves complex paperwork and regulations I'm not set up for.

How do you pack live animals?

Animals are packed in breathable deli cups or containers with some of their own substrate and/or leaf litter to keep stress low. The containers are cushioned inside a cardboard box, with heat or cool packs added as needed based on transit weather forecasts. I do my best to make the journey as comfortable as possible.

What happens if my animals arrive dead?

If your order arrives DOA and meets the guarantee conditions above (temperatures in range, you were available to receive it), email me within 2 hours of delivery with photos of the unopened box and the animal(s). Depending on the situation, I'll offer a replacement, store credit, or partial refund. I'm a reasonable person and want you to be happy with your purchase.

How do I know when new animals are available?

The best way is to follow me on Instagram, where I post updates when new listings go up, or check this site regularly. I update the For Sale page whenever stock changes.

Can I request a specific species or morph?

Yes! Feel free to reach out and ask if I have or plan to have something specific. I can't always say yes, but I'll let you know if it's something I work with or might have in the future.

Do you do local pickup?

Possibly — I'm located in [City, State]. Message me and we can discuss it. Local pickup would skip the shipping fee, and you get to see the animals in person before taking them home.

Can you include care info with my order?

Yes! I always include a care sheet for each species. You can also check the Collection page for my care notes. And of course, feel free to message me if you have questions after you get your animals home.

I'm a total beginner. Can I still buy?

Absolutely! I love introducing people to this hobby. I'll try to point you toward beginner-friendly species and give you everything you need to get started. Just be upfront that you're new — I'd rather you succeed with your animals than struggle in silence.
